Full Description

Oldcotes Mill, on main Worksop-Doncaster road. Mill house faces road; a building of stone and pantile. It is lived in and is in good condition. This was known as Goldthorp (sic) Mill (as on OS map) and was in use until the 1914-18 war. (06/08/1963). (1)
Named 'Goldthorp Mill'. (2)
House, formerly watermill. Early C18 with later C18, C19 and C20 alterations and additions. (3)
One report suggests that it was still working in 1936. In 1816 it was 3 storey with 2 pairs of French stones, one pair of Black stones, a dressing machine and an oat cutter. (4)
