Cropmarks. Rectangular enclosures on N side of a double ditched trackway. Boundaries of the "brickwork" field system extend from here. (1) (2)
Cropmarks of a cluster of at least 6 subrectangular enclosures, c 1.0Ha in area, associated with brickwork plan fields possibly of Ro date. In one enclosure, a C shaped mark may be a hut site. At SK 667822, twin enclosures are 0.15Ha overall. The cropmarks S of the cluster are somewhat faint. A long double ditched boundary makes a sharp turn as it passes the enclosure cluster, suggesting that the enclosures are earlier.
A section was cut through the ditches (of cropmarks) in 1976 and Ro pottery of the C3 was found. (3)
