Full Description

There were 2 tanyards near this map reference some years ago. Only the shell of one is now extant. It is the nearer of the 2 to the reference quoted. It is no longer used for tanning but is used as a fellmongery by Waterfields of Retford. There is no evidence of it being as tanyard inside. The shell is a brick building. 05/05/1969. (1)
