Full Description

No steeple, but a tall tower with 12 pinnacles. Lower stages mid C14. The rest of the church is by Hodgson Fowler, built after a fire in 1901-2. Only the N chancel wall survives (see the Norman window and doorway). Small fragments from a Norman doorway or chancel arch are built into a vestry wall. The present 5-light E window was originally on the S side of the chancel. The N arcade was c 1200, the rebuilt S arcade C14 (from old photographs). (1)
