Full Description

At Wharf Bridge there is a red brick building with a pantile roof, on the N side of the canal. It has 3 warehouse doors (now bricked up) facing onto the canal. It therefore seems probable that the building was a small warehouse, especially as the name of the bridge indicates that there was a wharf at this point. (1)
