Full Description

Odingsell's Manor is shown on an old map of Epperstone as being SSW of the church and on the opposite side of the road. (Photo appears to be of Walker's Manor House - see M 5450). (1)
Manor now (1908) Mrs Dufty's. (2)
Epperstone House is built upon the site of Odingsell's Manor. Miss Brett stated that her grandmother (Mrs Dufty) had witnessed the construction of the present house, probably c 1840-50. No traces of an earlier building are now visible. (4)
It appears that (2)s reference to the manor as in 1908, includes the present Epperstone House - known locally by old name. (5)
