Full Description

In a grass paddock at the lower end of Epperstone is a late C17 brick dovecote. It is 13ft 9in square and 15ft high to the eaves of a tiled roof. There are crow-stepped gables. The nesting boxes, presumably of wood, have all gone. (1) (2)
The building is in good condition, now used as a stable. (3)
A dovecote opposite the Cross Keys in Main Street, rectangular and gabled with modillion string and eaves courses. (4)
Dovecote, in field opposite Cross Keys. Late 17th Century? Square brick structure with double pitched roof with plain tiles. Dimensions 13 ft 9 in by 13 ft 9 in, 15ft high. No current use and no use in 1927. No nest holes left. (5)
