Full Description

The present Lord Chaworth sold his Rosell Wood to John Dunkling who hath built a pretty little brick house there and makes it his residence (writing c 1677). (1)
The buildings of Rosellewood Farm are all C18/C19. Mr RK Mason, the owner, knows of no older building there, or in Roselle Wood. Perambulation of the wood revealed only a block of old stone slabs (SK 6481 5120) probably covering a well. (2)
Grid ref approx - not drawn on map.
