Bevercotes Chapel (St Giles) listed under "vanished churches of which the sites are known". (1)
The old church at Bevercotes fell down in 1650. (2)
Local enquiries and perusal of Record Office documents gave no information relating to this early chapel. Bevercotes now consists of two farms only. (3)
