Full Description
Remains of the Scots line N of the river (at Muskham Bridge) are shown on Clampe's plan (at G) as two semicircular works, one on either side of the road, but nothing of them now survives. (1)
This site falls in a worked out gravel pit. (2)
Section of ditch with distinctive shape may indicate the remains of this fortification - farther S than shown by (1). (3)
