Full Description

The original pinfold was on a site adjacent to the present pinfold. It was built in 1800-1801 by Christopher Rose, probably as a replacement for an earlier structure. In 1897 a new pinfold was built opposite the public house on the other side of the road which was moved again in 1969 by Notts County Council and rebuilt in its present position, which is now more or less the original position.
