Full Description

Site of Civil War Parliamentarian redoubt. (1)
This was doubtless a defence for the dam and would have been of minor significance in relation to the general siegeworks, particularly as the dam never appears to have been used as such. (2)
See M5668 for dam.

Possible earthwork traces seen in LiDAR DTM 1m and satellite imagery.
