Full Description

Site of Parliamentarian Civil War redoubt. (1)
Indicated site now under fresh plough following harvested corn. There are no surface indications of a former redoubt hereabouts. The site is low lying and is overlooked by high ridges to the N and SE, a most unlikely situation for cannon. (2)
