Full Description

Sun dial on shaft of cross in St Mary's churchyard. (1)
A stone memorial/churchyard cross consisting of shaft and base standing on a plinth of 2 steps, with date 1692 inscribed on the base. The shaft is capped with a sun dial base with gnomen removed. The lower carving of the shaft suggests the monument may be contemporary with the C17 carved date. (2)
