A deer park at Kneesall is shown on Saxton's map of 1610 (Park Farm at SK 702630). (1)
Park is mentioned in 1460, fences were ruinous in 1543. Enclosure post C17. Old Hall Farm, Kneesall was a hunting lodge, C16. (2)
Park of the Earl of Winchester, earliest mention 1260. (3)
