Full Description

Site of Rossiter's Sconce, a Parliamentarian earthwork. (1)
Indicated site now under corn stubble; there are no surface indications of a former sconce ..., no finds were made and the farmer (who has worked this field for over 40 years) cannot recall earthworks. The situation is atop a local rise with commanding all round visibility and defensive qualities. (2)
