Pillbox at Felley mill, on road junction. (1)
The pillbox is set at the end of a road junction with a wood behind. The ground is quite boggy.
The pillbox is hexagonal, brick with stepped brick embrasures and a concrete roof. The door is on the east side, there is no central pillar. Possible that a pillar was one in place, remains evident on ceiling. (2)
Locally Listed by Ashfield District Council (ADC Ref: 265) (3).

The anti ricochet wall is missing as are all the concrete shelves.Hexagonal with five main gun embrasures and two covering the entrance.
