St Mary's Roman Catholic church. (1)
1838-9 by M. E. Hadfield for the Duke of Norfolk, the interior still of the 1820 type, that is, rather thin and timid (unaisled, of five bays with a hammerbeam roof), but the front unusually solid and serious with its Perp window and bellcote. (2)
