St John's Church. (1)
A tall spire. 1867-8 by R. C. Clarke & Son; berated by popular opinion. Stained glass (E window) given by C. G. S. Foljambe in memory of his wife Louisa Blanche d. 1871. (2)
Listing gives 'Messrs Machin and Foljambe' as patrons. It is safe to assume this is NOT the same Machin who built Gateford Hill in 1824. (3)
