Full Description

Fairbanks' drawing of 1827 (2) shows this bleach mill with a 12ft 6in diameter external wheel. The mill is sited on the river by Church Lane at the bottom of Brunt Lane. The 1875-1886 OS map shows the Borough Saw Mills on the site with a small mill pond. There are now no remains. (1)
