Full Description

A Saxon cross shaft within the church at Hawksworth. 2 faces were destroyed when it was used as a lintel by the Normans. (1)
The fragment is now free standing in the nave. It is decorated with interlace on both sides with inset double ended crucifix on the largest. It is 1.8m long. (2)
