Full Description

In the NE corner of the field are a number of small depressions, a rectangle 8m x 9m and S of this another 18m x 21m with 2 raised tongues of land projecting into it. S of this a rectangle 25m x 14m appears to be deeper because it is cut into the sloping ground, but the bottom is at about the same level as the other 2.
These are possibly a set of ponds fed by a stream flowing along the edge of the Green. They are now too shallow to collect water from here. (1)
Grid ref centred.
See M2953 for shrunken village, L11371 for channel probably associated with the ponds.
