On arable land, bordered on the SE by the River Trent. Slight surface irregularities in the form of a broad and low (max 0.1m) bank which can be identified with a mark at SK 7795 5656. Apart from the most E field which is beet, the land is all corn stubble, freshly muck spread. The marks would seem to belong to the IA/Ro period but nothing was found to substantiate this. (3)
