Full Description

Redoubt, on the First line, the second S from Moll's Hornwork. No earthwork remains survive but the outline of the faces of the redoubt is preserved by sharp bends in a stream directed round them - the shape is confirmed by Clampe's plan. (1)
This feature is not visible on APs. (2) (3)
From the results of the soil strip there were no signs of any ground disturbance but the shallow depth of soil removal does not preclude archaeological material at greater depth. (4)
See M5800 for Moll's Hornwork, M18337 for another redoubt to the S.
