Full Description

Adjoining the building (Brinsley Hall Farmhouse) is an ancient Catholic chapel dedicated to St Chad. Human bones, skulls etc have been frequently dug up in the orchard. (1) (2)
Manorial history of Brinsley - no mention of hall or chapel. (3)
A farm building has always been associated locally with the chapel. Nothing is known of the site of the burials. The farm building identified with the chapel is a C18 brick barn ... no real trace of the chapel could be found in the area of the farmhouse. (4)
