Full Description

Mill pond, for Castle Mill, on the N side of the road from Papplewick to Linby (also fed Grange Mill). (1)
Large mill pond built by Robinsons - road forms head of dam. Pond was drained, but smaller "Upper Dam" remains. Water still flows beneath the mill and parts of the water channel on the E side of the main dam can still be traced. (2)
