Full Description

Pretty lodges at the main (E) and the W entrances by C. A. Buckler, 1860's. (1)
Ornamental lodge. 1862. By C. A. Buckler for F. W. Webb. (2)
Also known at 'Hutt Lodge'. Roof of plain clay tiles. Carved stone parapets to all gables with carved stone finials (some damaged and missing). Two stone constructed bays to either end of the buildings on the north and south gables, with stone slab roofs. Carved stone plinth to the perimeter. There is a square bay on the main front elevation of similar construction to the house with carved detail parapet covered with a lead roof. Windows generally have carved stone features to cills, jambs, transoms, mullions and tracery. Much of the detailing of the tracery on the front bay window has been lost. Windows are a mixture of metal lights and timber casements with some glzing let directly into the stonework reveals. (3)
