Full Description

House. C17. Timber framed and brick with brick nogging, rendered. (1)
Analysis by dendrochronology was undertaken on 4 of 5 samples taken from Ivy Cottage. This resulted in dating of 2 samples. The north wall plate is derived from a tree with an estimated felling date range of AD 1478-1503. The south wall plate is derived from a tree felled in AD 1472. (2)
