Full Description

The L-shaped house facing the road is C17, probably c.1630 by William Clarkson. An early example of brick facing, bonded to thick walls of rough skerry. The windows look later, c.1680-90. (1)
Several features in the present house indicate a dating of 1630-60. (2)
