Part of pit alignment. Straight NW-SE linear feature with line at right angles, and others coming away from this - ploughing pattern ? One, possibly 2 rectangular post-entrenched structures - revealed in stripping. (1)
13 pits of the pit alignment were excavated in 1967, but no dateable evidence was found. (NB confusion over grid ref comes from APs). (2) (3) (4)
The whole of this area is now occupied by sewage disposal beds. Miss Wheeler can add no further information. (5)
