Full Description

Named 'Rufford Mill' (1).
Sawmill. c.1740. Adjoining outbuildings later C18 and C19. (2)
In 1695 Willaim Hurt, Eakring was leased the mill to grind corn. It is also documented in 1717 and 1777. In 1936 it was a saw mill. The buildng still stands as part of the Counrty Park but the wheel which remains is not currently viewable to the general public. (3)
