Full Description

Spearhead, part only. Centre of blade. Length 185mm. Dredged from bed of river Trent 1924 (above grid ref). (1)
BA spearhead from the Trent. (2)
Dredged from the River Trent in 1924, class IIIa, Ind Phase VII, Taunton, MBA, length 185mm, width 50mm & weight 152g, in good preservation still showing a crisp and well finished product, recent damage has broken the point off along a casting flaw (a bubble). (3)
NB Grid ref given does not fall in or near Trent, appears to be for the village.
