Full Description

House. Dated 1837, with later rear additions. (1)
Two-storey rendered building on a stone plinth. The principal elevation is is symmetrically planned in 3 bays, the door way being centrally placed within an open porch finished with pilaster jambs, entablature and overlight. A slate pitched roof finishes the house with a lateral stack to the east. Setting: The Grove is set within a small historic parkland. Large areas of well-preserved ridge and furrow survive in the area with hedges and dykes defining the boundaries of the grounds. (2)
