Full Description

The Manor House, which stood close to the church, was demolished except for a small S wing in 1978. It was a good mid-C17 L-plan house. A row of three gables with finials disappeared in the re-roofing of c.1900. (1)

Willoughby Manor House stood near the church of St. Mary and All Saints and was bulit in 1686 according to the date incised on the firehood bressumer in the largest room… in C19 three cottages were built on to the rear of the long arm of the 'L'. … in spite of being a listed building, the Manor House was demolished in 1978 except for one gable end on the south side onto which a new development was built.
