Full Description

In 1776 … Samuel Sketchley … establish[ed] his brewery near the Town Wharf. 'Semi-Greek style' maltings of 1864. (1)
Datestone on north east gable inscribed "P W Archt. 1864". Disused since 1964. (2)
Reddish brick, slate roof, 4 storeys high including basement (kilns only 2 storeys high), 6 bays wide. State of repair deteriorating, few alterations, empty. These maltings are part of Warwick and Richardson's Brewery. (3)
