Full Description

Opened in 1895 as St. Cuthbert's College. The earliest buildings, including the hall, on the W side are by R. H. Carpenter, 1890-5 … in red brick. Headmaster's house (SW corner) and N side of the quadrangle up to the clock tower 1897. The rest of the quadrangle (N) 1907 and (E) 1928 by B. D. Thompson. On the S side, the chapel by Aston Webb, 1907-11. (1)
