Named 'Well House' on (1) and 'Well House Bath' on (2).
C18 or early C19. (3)
Late-18th century house on the site of a historic bathing site, a holy well first recorded as 'St John's Well' in 1710 and historically used for healing and bathing; trap door under the kitchen covers access to the bath which is constructed of stone, last used in mid-19th century, covered over by John Henry Hutchinson Esq (of Clarborough Hall); house is red brick (rendered) with dentilated eaves and some timber joinery; see: http://www.ournottinghamshire.org.uk/page_id__922_path__0p31p34p280p.aspx (4)
