Full Description

Ridge and furrow to the north and west. Terracing, banks and hollows next to the road in the field to the east of the church. Lynchet running across the back of this and the field to the NE. Narrow terracing in front of this may mean that it is a terraced trackway. Terracing at the rear of the smaller field by church may represent settlement. At the front of the NE field, terrace banks define smaller land plots. In the east corner is a circular mound with a central hollow (diameters 10m and 6m), alongside a large hollow, near to the stream (drain). This may be a mill site. Lynchet bank in the garden to the NE. (1)
See L1969 for nearby hollow way, M18097 / M9840 for church.
