Full Description

Fieldwalking to the N of the Saxondale roundabout revealed a small concentration of Ro pottery in field 200, overlapping into fields 201 and 203. The quantity of material is not large (only 14 sherds), but it represents a fairly tight cluster which stands out clearly relative to adjacent fields ... suggests an activity focus of some kind. (1)
Grid ref centred, and altered to fit description. See L 8270 for Pa find, L 8271 for Preh flints, L 8272 for Med pottery.
