Full Description

A polished flint axehead, 105mm long, 24mm maximum thickness and 42mm maximum width at the edge, was found in the back garden of 5, Shaftesbury Avenue, Burton Joyce, in June, 1970. It is of mottled grey-brown flint with a thin butt with narrow facets on the sides. In NCM. (1)
