Full Description

A flint knife of the beaker period was found at Bestwood (above grid ref), c 1ft deep in sandy soil, whilst laying a lawn. It is 4.75in long, and was presented to Nottm Museum in 1957. (1)
NB Reported from Bestwood Park but grid ref is just outside boundary.
