Three interrupted ditches running up and down hill. (1)
At Redhill, immediately E of the Nottingham - Mansfield road and N of the Guides House, is a series of interrupted parallel trenches of irregular width and depth, running N and S up and down the hill. They may represent the worn-down grooves of an old road, but their irregularity is hard to explain on these grounds. (2)
