Full Description

3 houses, now 3 shops. Mid C18. (1)

A mid 18th century row of houses and shops with later alterations. The building is a three-storey row of town-houses, with moulded eaves, raised quoins and square-faced mullioned windows. It probably dates from the second half of the 18th century. It is a relatively tall building now, as there have been many buildings demolished along Stockwell Gate and this building is now relatively isolated, whereas it was built as part of a developed frontage. Although the shopfronts have been considerably altered, the row contains enough of its original form. (2)
