Full Description

Kelham Hall … On the N side of the house is the quadrangle built in 1924-5 by the Society of the Sacred Mission who bought Kelham in 1919. Their architect was Charles Clayton Thompson of the Derby partnership of Currey & Thompson. Most interesting is the chapel, built in 1927-8. Never completed, it is still weatherboarded where the N and S aisles were meant to be. (1)
