Full Description

In Hallam's Lane, No. 37 is by Myerscough Walker, part of an unrealised plan of c.1930 for a circular house. (1)

N.B. Pevsner was looking at the wrong building. (2)

House, 1936-7 by H Raymond Myerscough-Walker for Mr H G T Grainger. (3)

A fine example of an International modern-style house, built in 1936-7 by R Myerscough Walker. A 2 storey flat roofed block, fronted by semi-circular bay window with canopied terrace. It retains most of its original fixtures and fittings. (4)
