Full Description
Two-storey house with gabled roof of clay pantiles. Front elevation is in Flemish bond brick and has decorative cogged eaves. Two clear building phases with a forth bay having being added at the east end. Timber multi-pane, sliding sash windows. Originally had a central door now covered with modern brick-built porch. To the rear there are two historic extensions that formed a U-Plan. The one to the road has decorative dentilated eaves. Modern flat-roofed extensions have infilled between these two ranges. There is an historic boundary wall to the front and side with rounded coping bricks. (1)
Appears clearly in OS 1883 (2) and possibly on Sanderson’s map 1835 though less clearly (3).
