Full Description

This two-storey red brick building was built in Flemish bond and has rendered gables. Double-pile, roof covered with clay pantiles. Timber sash windows which on the ground floor have rubbed brick headers. The door has an impressive fan light, the form of which is mirrored in the timber-framed glazed porch. Two gabled-end chimney stacks. The brick boundary wall is c.125cm high and has round brick coping and stone capped gate piers with ironwork gates. The current owner confirmed that the original smaller cottage was around 400 years old and had been extended significantly and given a new frontage. (1)
