Full Description

A substantial amount of Ro pottery, including samian, grey, colour coated and Debyshire wares were found while digging a garden and during a short term excavation between Linby Road and Papplewick Lane. A bronze coin of Valentinian I or II (364-375 and 375-392), mint of Arles, and an illegible bronze antoninianus of c AD 270 were found in the same location. (1)
