Full Description

In 1853, the Vestry of Mansfield took advantage of a General Act of Parliament, assisted and encouraged by the grant of a site from the Duke of Portland, and erected Public Baths on the bank of the Maun at Littleworth. The architect was C. J. Neale, and the building work was carried out by C. Lindley. (1)

Site is now the car park of the Water Meadows Swimming Centre.
