Full Description

Four chimney stacks, prominent features beside the M1 motorway are, along with some houses, the only remains of an extensive colliery brickworks. (1)
None of these chimneys are marked on (2). The brickworks originally stood further to the NE of the site and so the chimneys must be part of extensions made post-1915. (3)
